As announced in May, Bâloise and the University of Luxembourg have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in which the Bâloise Group offers scholarships to students enrolled in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree in Applied Management. It is intended for deserving students with high potential who will receive an allowance of 300 euros a month for the duration of their studies and this, up to 30 months. This scholarship is supplemented by the opportunity to complete an internship within the Bâloise Group in Luxembourg in order to immerse themselves in the world of insurance and to discover the practical realities of a company.
Like the whole planet, the University of Luxembourg and Bâloise are confronted with the sanitary crisis and have decided to join forces and pitch in to make the world-after a little better and offer better chances to the most deserving students, without any discriminations regarding their income or social background. Laurence Fransen, Human Resources Director of the Bâloise Group in Luxembourg states: "We received eight eligible applications and, after analysing the candidacies, which were all complete and relevant, the choice fell on Mike Emeringer, 1st year of Bachelor in Applied Management and Paul Pontonnier, 2nd year of Bachelor in Applied Management. We were happy to welcome them face to face on 6th July 6th, in order to present them the tasks and the different departments where they can complete their internships.”
Congratulations to the lucky scholarship holders and all the best for their future studies!
