This partnership, which has been signed for a period of three years, is the expression of Bâloise Assurance Luxembourg’s drive towards greater sustainability on several levels.
“Our partnership with etika translates our commitment to sustainable development through concrete and global actions. Thanks to the expertise of etika, we will be able to both improve the sustainability of our internal processes and develop attractive products that meet the public’s expectations in terms of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance).” indicates Romain Braas, CEO of Bâloise Assurances Luxembourg.

Bâloise Assurances Luxembourg and etika will work hand in hand on three main pillars.
First, etika will provide internal advice to the insurance company on sustainability issues and point out ways of optimizing work processes in order to make them more sustainable and responsible.  etika will bring all its expertise to support the insurance company in this process, and especially with regard to the relocation to the new headquarters in Leudelange.

Furthermore, employees will also be made more aware of sustainable development and sustainability issues through training and conferences held by etika. Finally, the association will accompany Bâloise Assurances Luxembourg in the development of new, ethical insurance products to meet the emerging customer needs. This gives insurance customers the opportunity to invest their money in a new, sustainable product.

„etika has always had the ambition to extend its range of financial products with social and environmental benefits for the population in Luxembourgish. We are therefore very pleased to be able to extend our offer through the partnership with Bâloise Assurances Luxembourg, a major participant in the country’s insurance industry. In a context in which scientists and NGOs never tire of drawing attention to the risks of the climate crisis, it is no coincidence that the insurers have been the first to take seriously the risks that the crisis poses to our entire economy. It was therefore logical for our association to get involved in the insurance sector. Even if the sector is less visible to the public than the banking sector, it has a great importance in the investment sector and is increasingly attracting the attention of the world of social finance, of which etika is a part. We welcome this new partnership, which enables Luxembourg to move towards an ethical and responsible financial center.”, completes etika-President Magali Paulus.
