What is myBaloise?

myBaloise is your personal online space provided by Baloise Assurances. It allows you to manage your insurance policies easily and securely, download your documents, and report claims.

How do I log in to myBaloise?

For your first login, you’ll need a contract or a payment reminder. Please have the following information ready:

  • Your customer number
  • One of your contract numbers

Go to the myBaloise website and create your account.

Once you're logged in, you’ll be able to set up your client area just the way you like it.

What can I find in myBaloise?

In your myBaloise space, you’ll find:

  • Your insurance contracts
  • Your international insurance card
  • Your invoices
  • Your tax certificates for your tax return
  • An online claim declaration tool
  • Tracking for your ongoing claims
  • Company news and updates
  • Your agent’s contact details

 

I’ve lost my login details – what should I do?

If you’ve lost your login credentials:

  • Enter your email address
  • Click on “Forgot password”

A new login link will be sent to you.

How do I report a claim?

You have several options to report a claim:

How long do I have to report a claim?

A claim (car, home, etc.) must be reported within 8 days of the incident, unless prevented by force majeure.

How can I track my claim?

You can follow the progress of your claim through your myBaloise client space or by contacting your agent.

How long does it take to receive compensation?

The compensation time depends on the type of claim and the documents provided. We do our best to process your case as quickly as possible.

What documents should I provide when reporting a claim?

When reporting a claim, it’s important to provide as much information as possible. This helps us assess your case accurately and determine compensation, especially in the event of a car accident.

For a home insurance claim:

  • Contract number
  • Date of the incident
  • Circumstances
  • Cause of the damage
  • Nature of the damage (photos if possible)
  • Estimated cost (ideally with supporting invoices)
  • A copy of the police report in case of theft

For a car insurance claim:

  • Accident report (constat à l’amiable) if applicable
  • Photos
  • A copy of the police report in case of theft

Additional documents or information may be requested by the company to determine your compensation.

How can I get a duplicate of my contract or insurance certificate?

All your documents are available in your myBaloise client space. You’ll find your contracts, invoices, international insurance card, and tax certificates there.

What is the payment deadline for insurance premiums?

Your insurance premium invoice is sent to you 30 days before the due date. This means you generally have 30 days to pay your invoice.

I lost my international insurance card – what should I do?

You can download your international insurance card from your myBaloise client space.
