Important information – email fraud regarding car insurance certificates

January 7, 2026. We would like to draw your attention to an important information regarding your motor insurance certificate (also known as the “green card”).

Since 1 January 2026, your insurer may provide this certificate in electronic format (PDF), in addition to the usual paper version.

Please be vigilant: fraudulent emails are currently circulating, inviting recipients to click on a link to order this certificate in exchange for a fee. These messages do not come from your insurer nor from any official authority.

For your safety, please remember:

the insurance certificate is free of charge;
it is issued exclusively by your insurer;
do not click on any links, do not open attachments and never share your personal or banking details.

If you receive such an email, simply ignore it and delete it.
