Eduard Grosu new leader of the Skoda Tour

September 17, 2020. After 3 stages finished in the first 10 riders, Eduard Grosu finally takes the yellow jersey of Basel at the expense of Diego Lussi. The latter stays in ambush in 2nd place, only 5 seconds behind the new leader.

He had begun the Tour armed with a strong determination by finishing successively 3rd in Kirchberg and 7th in Hesperange and it is with the same abnegation that he takes second place in the stage today in Schifflange behind German rider John Degenkolb (Lotto Soudal). Eduard-Michael Grosu reaps the fruit of his work and takes the yellow jersey of Bâloise off the shoulders of Diego Ulissi.

The Romanian sprinter of the NIPPO DELKO One Provence team, multiple champion in his country, confided himself to the descent of the podium.

The stage village situated at the foot of the church of Schifflange brought a lot of supporters who came to applaud the riders during the 2 successive passages and some well-known heads of the local landscape gratified us with their presence like Johny and Franck Schleck or Robby Langers and Gilbert Dresch, former Luxemburgish professional and international footballers.

We look forward to seeing you again at our stand at the start in Rodange and at the finish in Differdange for the penultimate stage of this Tour. There are still a lot of yellow jerseys to be won!
