Over 100 professionals from the medical sphere and the Human Resources world met to attend the Bâloise Forum 2019 which focused on the theme of health. “Health is everyone’s business, it influences people at work, at home and it also has an impact on society in general. It’s undeniable that a good mental and physical health, notably with a good work-life balance, boosts entrepreneurial success and well-being,” declared Laurent Heiles, Director and Member of the Executive Committee of the Bâloise Group in Luxembourg during this welcome speech.
The guests were then able to make the most of solid know-how from true experts in their respective fields.
Fabio Secci, General Manager of the CMCM, presented the advantages of additional health insurance.
Hervé Barge, General Manager of the Luxembourg-based e-health agency (Agence Nationale eSanté), then spoke to explain the methodology and strategy of the e-health exchange platform as well as the mutual care aspect.
Virginie Stevens, Managing Partner-Founder of Pétillances, spelled out the importance of the prevention of psychosocial risks, based on a multi-dimensional approach including individual, collective and systematic responsibility.
As for Jean-Luc Dourson, Corporate Manager of BioneXt Lab, he emphasized the importance of prevention in the health field. Primordial, especially when we know that only 3% of the health budget of OECD countries is dedicated to prevention and public awareness.
The last speaker during the conference was Christian Oberlé, President-Manager or the CNS, who presented the CNS of yesterday and tomorrow, highlighting the strategic focuses 2010-2022 of the eSanté agency and the importance of digitalization and preventive medicine.
Participants were able to continue discussing and brainstorming about this fascinating subject during a cocktail-buffet served in the well-known restaurant Schéiss aux Arquebusiers.
