A strong commitment
A little more than a year after our Christmas escapade to “An der Villa”, we return to Steinfort to present you this time a restaurant well known to meat lovers.
Located a few hundred meters from the Belgian border, this address opened in the autumn of 2011 quickly seduced the curious and justly obtained a Toque from Gault&Millau. Belonging to the Steffen Group, a name built up over six generations of butchers, and led by an inseparable trio in the kitchen, La Table de Frank is committed not only to the exceptional quality of its products, but also to the way in which it carries out its business and behaves towards its customers, colleagues and employees, nature, animal welfare, society as a whole and future generations.

It is this constant commitment to transparency and respect that has led it to become the first restaurant in Luxembourg to be certified CSR or ESR (Socially Responsible Enterprise) by the INDR (National Institute for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility). Customers recognise this, and it is on the internet that they share their satisfaction. Indeed, the restaurant has received the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence for 5 consecutive years and is awarded the 2019 "Star Winner" award for these certificates, which are a guarantee of the quality of the food and service provided.
A varied and creative menu
The three experienced chefs offer a fine and gourmet "Brasserie" type French cuisine, favouring local produce and products but also influences from the Greater Region, with, sometimes à la carte, traditional dishes such as Luxembourg's "Feierstengszalot" or Belgian "peaches with tuna" revisited by Chef David.
The signature dish of the Chef who is most renowned at Frank's Table is "Our Master Butcher's Beef Tartar". Piece of local beef, minced and seasoned in the purest tradition, accompanied by fresh homemade fries and salad. A pure delight! It is probably because this dish is the customers' favourite that it has become the restaurant's signature dish.
